Appointment and EmerGENCY Care Policy

 We strive to operate by appointment to ensure each pet receives the attention they deserve. While we prioritize emergencies for our current clients, we understand that unexpected situations can arise. If we are unable to assist you on the same day, we can refer you to other providers who can address your pet’s emergency.

* Please note that there are no veterinary facilities in Cheyenne that offer 24-hour monitoring with overnight care for admitted patients.

 In accordance with state law, all animals must have up-to-date rabies vaccinations to receive our services. This is a standard requirement, though rare exceptions may apply. We are happy to discuss your pet's rabies vaccination status further upon request.

All are within an hour's drive and can provide the intensive care or overnight monitoring your pet may require.

Before surgery, we require a pre-anesthetic exam to assess your pet's overall health. This allows our providers to discuss the surgical or anesthetic procedures, answer any questions you may have, and work with you to create a tailored plan. We will also provide a cost estimate at this time. 

All scheduled surgeries will be drop-off appointments.  Drop-off time is at 7:45 AM on the day of the surgery. For your pet's safety, we require your pet has no food after 8:00 PM the night before the scheduled procedure.

All payments are due at the time of service. We accept cash, debit cards, all major credit cards, and Care Credit. Please note that we do not accept checks. If a balance remains unpaid, additional fees may apply, and the balance could be sent to a collection's agency. If you have any questions or concerns about payment, please feel free to reach out to us! 

After the examination, if further diagnostics are needed, we will review costs, potential charges, and treatment plans with you. Please note that estimates may not include follow-up appointments or unexpected costs.
